The Flat is ideally located within easy access of both the city centre and many of the visitor attractions,  business parks and conference centre, making it a good "home from home" whether you are working in, or visiting Aberdeen. With restricted on-street parking and a bus stop on your doorstep (regular service to city centre roughly every 10 minutes - you can't get better than that!) The Flat is perfect for the holiday-maker who does not drive or travelled by Coach, Rail or Aeroplane. Aberdeen has so many great places to eat out and an abundance of pubs and clubs to chose from that even if you brought your car you could leave it parked - just jump on a bus and enjoy a fun evening in the City.  The flat has full double glazing and heating is provided by a **gas fire in the lounge (above) and a wall heater in the bedroom. There is a TV and Video Recorder, also a Music Centre in the Lounge. And lots of  books, tapes, etc for your use. We have compiled a folder of a great many of the visitor attractions so our visitors can plan any outings or you can visit the Tourist Board for
advice, maps, bus trips etc.

The Lounge is a good sized room, which is light and sunny day time and really nice and cosy at night. The room has a fresh light colour scheme, and has a new carpet. The furnishings comprise a three piece suite, with one recliner; a large wall unit; table and four chairs; wall shelving;
pictures, ornaments, lamp, rug etc.

Furnishings in this room comprise:-
Double bed; a three unit combination
wardrobe; bedside cabinet;  clothes/towel stand; rugs & touch control bedside lamps.
Heating by way of Gas Wall Heater -  but we have provided alternative electric heating should you prefer (oil filled radiator).
Bed made up with freshly laundered linens for your arrival.  Spare blankets provided.
Sorry due to fire risk we are unable to offer an electric blanket. The Bedroom is a nice sized room and decorated in a light colour scheme with a new carpet. There is additional space in a the hall cupboard area for storing all your bits and pieces, and in the hall an
airing cupboard houses the hover, washing basket, iron, etc. Freshly laundered sheets and an abundance of towels are provided for your use. Full length curtains drape the window which overlooks the garden. The window opens and has a locking mechanism.

There is an electric shower fitted over the Bath. Storage for your Towels/Toiletries.  No heater.

The Bathroom, while compact in size is fitted with a full size bath, toilet and hand basin. The walls are panelled and tiled around the bath/shower area. There are two mirrors. The colour scheme is bright and co-ordinates with the suite. The new carpet contrasts with the paper. Usually provided are two sets of freshly laundered towels.
In the bathroom you will find either a blue or green set, together with two bathmats and co-ordinating ladies and gents bath robes for your use while in the property. Please do not remove any of these.

The kitchen is off the hallway and as it is so compact we have left off the door. This gives the effect of more space and also allows the sunlight to filter through the hallway.

The hall, as mentioned, has cupboard space - an airing cupboard housing the hot water tank which is heated by an electric immersion element, You switch on the shower and immersion from inside this cupboard. The shelved cupboard will hold all your bits and pieces (above it are the gas and electric meters). In the hall the secure access telephone is mounted by the door and also the ADT intruder alarm. The hall is bright and has a new carpet. You have access to the garden area and drying lines. Additionally there is a laundry basket, clothes pegs, an ironing board and iron.

While the kitchen is small (9'x4') it is very well planned and very functional. The kitchen comprises a double unit under the right hand drainer sink; a plumbed in washing machine; an electric cooker with grill, oven and solid plates; a 300 mm base unit; fridge; microwave fitted at good height to wall above fridge; a 300 mm wall unit and small corner shelf. The kitchen is brightly decorated - wood effect worktop, with tiled splash back area and wood panelled wall. Roller blind on window for privacy at night, and quarter screen to complete. The floor has sealed cork tiles which are nice and comfy underfoot. Just perfect for the basics, but with so many wonderful places to dine out you may not wish to do too much cooking!
